ABOUT US

The Franklin Dance Team (aka Franklin High School Poms) is a competitive and spirit dance team at Franklin High School in Franklin, WI. Our girls are scholar athletes and represent both the school and the community exceptionally well.

We are very proud of our achievements and the hard work that each of our girls contributes throughout the year. In addition to performing at Franklin High School home football and basketball games and school events, last year we participated in seven competitions including the Contest of Champions National Championship in Walt Disney World where the team placed 1st in Large Pom, 5th in Large Jazz, 5th in Large Kick, Pom National Champion and 30th out of 80 teams overall.

Over the past 16 years the Franklin Varsity Dance Team has become one of the top squads in the Midwest. We have earned 17 state titles, 13 regional titles and have reigned as Midwest champions.

These girls are dedicated to continuing the tradition of excellence that the Franklin Pom girls before them started.

The season has been busy for the Team.  In addition to learning routines and competing, members have been making a difference by volunteering in our Community.

The Team had the honor of helping at the Franklin National Night Out Kick-Off Celebration, Street Angels, Hunger Task Force and welcomed our veterans home from their Honor Flight.  They also served brunch at the Ronald McDonald House and danced with kids at Penfield Children's Center.  Additionally, the team sponsored two Little Girls Clinics in September and January.
